This image was more difficult to assemble than it might look.
This is version 5.5, which means that there's about 20 major/minor shots on this particular goal, most of them involving rainbows, and that's just the digitizing/coloring.
It wasn't until DD suggested the entire sepia thing that I finally got something I could post.
The pony part was fairly simple - I put pictures of an MLP and a Pony Express stamp side-by-side and combined them in pencil on paper converting the horse parts as I went.
I had a lot of trouble with the head though, especially the snout. I went through numerous attempts, trying to keep the combination of forelock and muzzle from looking too much like a silhouette of Pig Elvis.
